It’s getting hot in Singapore with the debut of Dark Meat Hot Chicken across all 8 Shacks island-wide. The Dark Meat Hot Chicken is a fan-favorite in the U.S. where it ran as a limited time offer in 2017, 2018 and 2020. The spicy sandwich was updated for Asia using a premium chicken thigh, and this is the first time in Shake Shack’s history serving dark meat chicken.
The Dark Meat Hot Chicken is crafted from an all-natural cage-free dark meat chicken thigh slow-cooked in a creamy buttermilk marinade, hand-dipped into Shack-made batter, dredged through seasoned flour and crisp-fried. The chicken is dusted with a hot pepper blend and topped with Louisiana hot sauce slaw, kosher dill pickles and served on a pillowy potato bun.
