Hot on the heels of their newest opening at Great World City, gourmet burger joint Shake Shack has already announced their 7th outlet, to be opened at Gardens by the Bay. Set to be a “Warm Community Gathering Place”, Shake Shack has also partnered with Singaporean artist soph O for a spirited mural construction inspired by the lush flora and fauna of the national garden.
Before the opening, guests can stroll past the newest Shack from today to view soph O’s vivid, abstract construction mural representing the interconnectivity that makes us community. Across the five-sided mural is a continuous kaleidoscope of shapes and colours that are unique and assumed from the vibrant surroundings. The artist cleverly morphs classic Shake Shack icons into plants that are inspired by the gardens, contrasted against an overlay of leaves that together create the perception of land formations — bringing to life the idea of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. With a blend of sorbet shades and pops of jewel tones, the mural evokes an uplifting mood, like that of endless summers and everlasting blooms at Gardens by the Bay while encapsulating the sheer delight of every Shake Shack experience.
