Since first opening their doors at Jewel Changi Airport, burger joint Shake Shack has made their impact in Singapore, with snaking queues across all of their outlets and rave reviews. Now, get ready as their sixth outlet is about to open at Great World City.
To mark the grand occasion, the team has partnered with Singaporean artist tobyato to dream up a mural inspired by the fascinating history of the mall, with its namesake originating from one of Singapore’s first amusement parks, Great World, built in the 1920’s.
Stop by the newest Shack from today to catch a glimpse of tobyato’s vibrant mural, which is a
sprawling abstract artwork reminiscent of the infectious, carefree energy and moods of a bygone era. The lively colours are a homage to the amusement park’s playful atmosphere that appealed to all ages, mirroring Shake Shack’s inclusive appeal, with its diverse offering of food, beverages, and welcoming environment. The sprawling shapes and lines are a signature of tobyato’s body of work and personality, which often features swirling motifs with a touch of playfulness.
Shake Shack’s sixth outlet will be located at #01-101, Great World, 1 Kim Seng Promenade, Singapore 237994. Great World is served by numerous public transport routes, including several bus stops and MRT stations, with the Orchard, Tiong Bahru and Fort Canning stations a short walk away.
