Food For Thought: Morton’s the Steakhouse offers good fortune with their CNY offerings

For a reunion dinner like no other, celebrate and toast to the Lunar New Year with loved ones at Morton’s the Steakhouse this year. Start off the memorable evening with a Mortini toast and begin the festive feasting with luscious appetizers. The tender Broiled Sea Scallops (SGD$45++), wrapped in Bacon with Apricot Chutney, is the perfect appetizer for sharing along with the flavourful Jumbo Lump Crab Cake (SGD$45++) featuring whole pieces of crab meat. Indulge in a Chilled Morton’s Prime Ocean Platter (SGD$306++, serves five to six persons) next, featuring a fresh Maine Lobster, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Jump Lump Crabmeat, Alaskan King Crab Legs and Oysters on the Half-Shell. For a taste of both sea and land, the Mixed Grills are the ideal choice, with choices such as the 6.oz Filet Mignon with two Grilled Shrimp and two Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops (SGD$118++). 

The quintessential place for steaks, guests can look forward to hearty classics such as the 12 oz. Center-Cut Filet Mignon (SGD$116++), which is a fantastic grain-fed USA prime cut, extremely tender with an almost buttery texture. The 16 oz. Center-Cut Prime Ribeye (SGD$122++) offers a charred, caramelised exterior with an outstanding amount of marbling, flavour and texture.  An array of well-loved side dishes such as the delectable Creamed Spinach (SGD$25++)and Sautéed Spinach & Button Mushrooms (SGD$25++) are also available. 

Ending the meal on a high, choose from a delicious variety of Morton’s classic desserts to share with your loved ones – the Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake (SGD$38++) topped with raspberries and vanilla ice cream is both decadent and luxurious while the Souffle, for two (SGD$39++) comes in various flavours such as chocolate, Grand Marnier, lemon and raspberry.
